  • Robert, please let's be realistic. If the president called for those meetings to be televised and the Republicans did not want them televised they would not be televised or the Republicans would not show up.

  • This is why we should ban together to insist that "OUR" Members of the House and Senate pass laws to outlaw LOBBYISTS and LOBBYING. LOBBYING is an attempt by Corporate America to but our Government and our Legislators.

  • President Obama compromised with Republicans to save the tax cut he wanted for the people who make less that $250,000 a year. If he was advocating to keep the Bush tax cuts I wouldn't vote for him in 2012. As it stands I will vote for him in 2012.

  • The Government can do that by not extending the Bush tax cuts. The money in taxes that would be generated by taxing the billionaires, who can really afford to pay their fair share, would ease the burden on the middle class, somewhat.

  • I too am disabled and a registered Democrat. I have always voted the person not the party. However, I will not vote for anyone who advocates a continuation of the "Bush Era" tax cuts.
